Time to take cases of sexual assault on men seriously

His mother, who is teacher in same school (Delhi Public School) as him, have told that she had complained about the assault case to school authorities multiple times but no action was taken. They just said that some of those boys have left the school, and rest do not agree to have assaulted her son (if they actually did it, which molestor would agree to have done it anyways?).
A lot of rape cases to males aren't even registered and aren't taken seriously. Why is rape or any sexual assault on males not taken seriously? The answer lies in patriarchy and toxic masculinity, that men can never get raped. That males aren't so "weak" to have gone through it. This only causes worsening scenario for innocent men who got sexually assaulted and the prepetrator (be it male or any other gender) is left free.
We need to start taking cases quite more seriously when a male comes out about having gone through sexual assault or rape, without questioning how could they and victim shaming, like "how can a man go through sexual assault?" etc. Same procedure, that is taking cases seriously without victim shaming should be done with females and other gender's sexual abuse cases too.
According to the suicide note of the boy, he was even facing homophobia and ableism (because of his dyslexia). Unfortunately, homophobia still exists to a lot of extent. This is the reason why many sex eduactors on social media and I have kept telling in my blogs to introduce age-appropriate sex education in schools and colleges, which is factual and judgement-free. This will make people sensitive, accepting and compassionate of people with different choices (be it sexual preference, relationships, abortion etc) and body shapes.
A teacher refusing student to help him before exam and calling him off by saying he is taking advantage of his condition and that "he and his mother are troubling her". People with learning disabilities can take a little more time to understand a concept or might need other ways to understand something. Calling them off as trouble is itself troublesome.
Whatever happened with the boy wasn't right. Though sexual abuse case is not proved yet, I pray that, if the accusation is proved, the boys get punished.
A school is place where students spend hours of their day, and deserves to feel safe, not abused and are to be motivated to follow their dreams with support of their peers and teachers.
May God give his mother the strength to deal with it
Let's start taking such cases seriously, before we start losing more lives to bullies, discrimination and assaults.
