After recently finishing watching the 4th (and the last) season of Little Things, it makes all the sense why Gen Z is idolizing Dhruv Vats and Kavya Kulkarni as a couple.
Little Things is a series, spanning over 4 seasons, about a modern day couple Dhruv and Kavya who are navigating their lives as individuals and also their relationship. The beauty of this series is that it depicts the small yet beautiful things of a relationship, away from grand and cliche bollywood love stories. And making live-in relationships more acceptable in Indian society, especially among the Gen Z.
A couple that had had their own episodes of live-in as well as long distance and yet sticking together happily, they give major couple goals. They make even the smallest and little of the things look cute, caring and romantic.
They have depicted modern-day relationships very rightly and in a healthy way. Like what relationships are supposed to be in foundational level.
I have really liked this series from the first season of it, and by the end, this is one of my favourite series and my favourite on-screen couple.
Many Gen Z people wishes to have a relationship like them, which is quite understandable. But it should also be known that every couple/relationship is different because individuals in a relationship are different people with different thoughts, opinions and life experiences. Foundation of any relationship can be like them, i.e respectful, loving, caring, loyal, understanding etc.
There is no doubt why youngsters idolize to have a relationship similar to them. And oh, the musical edits on their relationship on Instagram! Can never get enough of it. Feels like to keep re-running the series and rewatch the edits again and again.
This is the series I recommend everyone to watch. One can watch Little Things on Netflix. Though first season of Little Things is available on YouTube as well (if one wanna give it a try) on channel named Dice Media.
