When I met my favourite writers

23rd November 2019. I was on my way to attend the book launch of 'Dear Stranger, I Know How You Feel', a book written by Ashish Bagrecha. When we entered the book store named Title Waves, I reached quite early to the time of launch. So the next 45 minutes went into going through books, magazines, and games available in the bookstore. 45 minutes and then it was the time of the launch. I and the people gathered there for the book launch were waiting for the book launch to start. After 5-10mins, my favorite poet Ashish Bagrecha, along with his wife Savi Sharma, who is also my favorite author entered the venue of the book launch. It was amazing to see both my favorite poet and favorite author together. After they came, the books (one each for Ashish and Savi) which were covered with gift paper were unwrapped.
Then came the question and answers (as per as I remember). Questions were asked by the people at the book launch related to his book, inspiration, etc. It was fun. After all the questions were answered by Ashish Bagrecha, then it was the time of book signing and photos with Ashish Bagrecha and Savi Sharma! It was the most awaited time. After 5mins of waiting, it was my chance to get my books signed by Ashish Bagrecha and get a photo clicked with him. When I met him in person, he was as humble (or can say even more) as he is online while replying to his reader's messages/ comments. He is a really humble and down-to-earth person. No attitude, No ego. I got my book signed by him and got a photo clicked with him.

After getting a photo clicked with him, it was time to get my books signed by Savi Sharma and get a photo clicked with her. Savi had been as humble as her husband- sweet spoken, no ego and no attitude. After having a few words exchanged between us and my books signed, it was time for a photo with her.

Then it was a group photo ( which I don't have with me) and was the end of the launch event (for me as I had to leave for my home as soon as the group photo was done). It had been a day worth memorable.

You can buy books by Ashish Bagrecha and Savi Sharma from Amazon, Flipkart or Snapdeal or from a bookstore near you. The books are worth spending your money on and reading them. I really recommend their books to everyone.

You can even follow Savi Sharma and Ashish Bagrecha on social media handle like Instagram (where Ashish Bagrecha puts poems) and on Facebook.
